Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22, 1985 New York City New York) has earned acclaim due to her acting abilities across genres ranging from historical dramas, thrillers and action films. Johansson was born in New York City, and lived there with her father who was an architect and her mother, a producer. Hunter was her twin and Johansson were all the youngest out of four kids. As a toddler she discovered a passion to act and started auditioning commercials when she was seven. She entered the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later attended at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan for further training. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she was in the role of Ethan Hawke at age 8 In North, directed by Rob Reiner in 1994 she made her debut in film. Johansson later appeared on screen in Just Cause (1995) but her first big break came with Manny & Lo (1996) which was a film about the orphaned sisters who flee to. Next, she received an award for the role she played as the role of a teenager who suffered an accident that left her disfigured as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention when she appeared in Ghost World (2001) as the outcast cynical Rebecca. Apart from appearing on this show, she's a skilled stage actress. Her performances have been spectacular in shows like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her profession in the entertainment industry when she was a teenager. She discovered her passion for acting in her early years. Smith had her first acting gig at age six with the assistance of her parents. She appeared in the Dannon commercial. Similar to many young actresses she decided to further develop her skills in the theater. Her work included various USA projects as well as making her debut on stage with Wildflower. She was a student at her first Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
